Origin of the company name
The origin of the company name "SuperOx" is a combination of the words "Superconductivity" and "Oxide", and it is a symbolic name that fuses physics and chemistry, which are the basis of our business.
In 2006, researchers who were engaged in superconducting research at the Moscow State University of Lomonosov and continued to work in Moscow after the dismantling of the former Soviet Union established "SuperOx" in Moscow, a company specializing in superconducting materials.
After that, it was established in 2011 as a limited liability company "SuperOx Japan" for the Japanese market, whose main business is research and development of superconducting wires and manufacture of pilot-scale superconducting wires.
